Cemaphore Systems Appoints John Liccione as Chief Technology Officer

Liccione to Drive Product Direction for MailShadow, Cemaphore's Email Disaster Recovery Solution

San Mateo, California - March 14, 2007

Cemaphore Systems™, a leading provider of messaging services management solutions, has appointed John Liccione as its Chief Technology Officer. John is chartered with driving product strategy and vision for Cemaphore´s new and existing products, including its flagship product MailShadow®, a leading-edge solution for Microsoft Exchange disaster recovery.

Prior to joining Cemaphore, John was Vice President of Market Development for collaboration solutions at e.magination Network. John served previously as CTO at Panacya and Evergreen Assurance, a company he co-founded to deliver an award-winning disaster recovery service for Microsoft Exchange. He also served as Vice President and General Manager of Hosting at pioneer Application Service Provider USinternetworking (USi). In 1997, he designed and launched the ARINC private IP network service for the U.S. commercial airline industry and FAA.

About MailShadow, DR Done Right!™
MailShadow® replicates selected mailboxes from multiple Exchange servers to a single active DR Exchange server. Using a service account to acquire message transactions removes the need to install any software on the Exchange servers. MailShadow uses transaction replication technology to move all Exchange content, including calendars, contacts, to the DR Exchange server, and checks the integrity of all data prior to forwarding transactions. After failover, Outlook, OWA, ActiveSync, Blackberry, etc. are fully functional, and complete mailbox content is available.
