Cooper is tasked with establishing financial and operational systems and optimizing their performance. Careful fiscal control and accountability will be Cooper’s focus at Cemaphore.
Cooper’s successful, 25-plus-year career has centered on the technology industry, however, Cooper brings wide-ranging experience as a financial and operational executive, founder, director, consultant and fund-raiser to Cemaphore.
“Clem has it all. He’s worked with start-ups and Fortune 500s, hardware and software, manufacturing and services,” said Tyrone Pike, Cemaphore’s President and CEO. “He cut his teeth as a public accountant and he’s recently been steeped in Sarbanes-Oxley-compliance projects. We’re fortunate to draw on his wealth of experience.”
Most recently, a consultant for Horn Murdock Cole in Santa Clara, Cooper
also served as CFO for Centegy Corporation, Lightscape Technologies, Inc.,
and Beta Phase, Inc. Cooper came to the United States from his native
Ireland as an audit manager for Coopers & Lybrand in 1981 and later
was a financial manager with IBM and Siemens. Cooper is a Chartered Accountant.
