Press Release

Cemaphore Taps Clem Cooper as CFO

Experienced CFO and Entrepreneur Joins Growing Messaging Start-Up

San Mateo, California - August 23, 2005

Cemaphore Systems™, a leading provider of messaging services management solutions, has named Clem Cooper as its Chief Financial Officer. Cooper is tasked with establishing financial and operational systems and optimizing their performance. Careful fiscal control and accountability will be Cooper’s focus at Cemaphore.

Cooper’s successful, 25-plus-year career has centered on the technology industry, however, Cooper brings wide-ranging experience as a financial and operational executive, founder, director, consultant and fund-raiser to Cemaphore.

“Clem has it all. He’s worked with start-ups and Fortune 500s, hardware and software, manufacturing and services,” said Tyrone Pike, Cemaphore’s President and CEO. “He cut his teeth as a public accountant and he’s recently been steeped in Sarbanes-Oxley-compliance projects. We’re fortunate to draw on his wealth of experience.”

Most recently, a consultant for Horn Murdock Cole in Santa Clara, Cooper also served as CFO for Centegy Corporation, Lightscape Technologies, Inc., and Beta Phase, Inc. Cooper came to the United States from his native Ireland as an audit manager for Coopers & Lybrand in 1981 and later was a financial manager with IBM and Siemens. Cooper is a Chartered Accountant.

About MailShadow
MailShadow eases the pain of Microsoft Exchange Server centralization by restoring LAN-speed messaging to remote offices. MailShadow intelligently replicates all Exchange content, including calendars, contacts, public folders and remote user mailboxes. Messages and other Exchange content can then be retrieved at LAN speeds by Outlook users who work at that remote location. MailShadow is deployed on a Windows server at each remote site. Pricing is based on an annual fee for each Outlook client using the Exchange transaction cache.
